Every term includes the same Guard protection and covers one car and the whole family. Only the length and what the Plug costs change.

Miles tells you what is happening: where the car is, how it is running, that everyone arrived. Guard acts on it. A serious crash means trained agents dispatching help to the car's exact location, even if no one can answer. A dead battery at midnight means a verified driver on the way in a few taps, not a search for a tow number. One membership does both.

One membership covers the car. The app is free for everyone in the family and shows every car with Miles on one map, every trip recapped, every alert to the right person at the right time. Nothing is priced per person.
One problem caught early can cover a year of membership. Miles also tells you what your car actually needs, and what it doesn't, so you walk into the shop informed, with a fair price in mind and no pressure to pay for services you don't need. And the service history in your Digital Glovebox pays you back again at resale.
~$30/mo · pieced together 5
One membership · from $11/mo
Location, diagnostics, roadside, crash response: pieced together, that's about $30 a month across apps and services, a tow that doesn't get you where you need to go, and crash detection that's never met your car. Built-in systems come closer, but only on certain new cars, locked to one brand, gone when you sell. Guard is all four in one membership, from $11 a month, in the car you already own.
Renewals, the Miles way
We've all been on the other side of it: the subscription you forgot you had, the cancellation that takes three phone calls and a guilt trip.
Your Miles membership is paid once, runs its full term, and ends on schedule. If we've earned the next one, it takes a couple of taps. If we haven't, it's bye for now: no hoops, no hold music, and everything is still here if you come back.
Your membership is paid once, runs its full term, and ends on schedule. We remind you before it does, and renewing takes a couple of taps — not renewing takes none. Either way your trip history and service records stay in your app.
Yes, one membership per Miles Plug: each device has its own cellular connection doing its own work. The app is free for everyone in the family.
All three include exactly the same Miles Guard protection — the only differences are how long the membership runs and what the Miles Plug costs. A longer term lowers the monthly equivalent, and the 3-year includes the Plug. Nothing renews on its own whichever you pick, so a shorter term is not a trap.
Yes. Members can request one-time, pay-per-use roadside for any car in the family, right from the app. Guard's included roadside and crash response stay tied to the cars with a Miles Plug.
You have 60 days to try everything. Send the device back for a refund of your device and membership, minus a $10 flat return fee, waived if the device arrived defective. Using Crash Response or Roadside Assistance during the window ends the money-back guarantee for the membership. Otherwise your membership simply runs to the end of its term and never renews on its own.
Your Miles Plug goes offline, and Guard's crash response and roadside end. Your trip history and service records stay in your app, and everything works again the day you renew.
